If the soy pillar candles do not come in a jar or a container than something will have to be placed underneath it to keep it from dripping wax on to the surface that it sits on.  A nice choice is to sit several candles on a mirror, this is not only attractive it also will reflect light around the room.  There are specialty stands that are made for soy pillar candles most are made of metal. These stands come in various heights and base circumference.

There are also holders available that hang on a wall which is a lovely decorative touch.
